A death had recently occured in the wizarding world. The death was of a muggleborn, someone that had been close to the Hastings family. A family friend whom Teddy had grown up with, gone to school with. The family friend was Andrew Wilson, a former student of the Gryffindor house. After graduating Hogwarts, Andrew had enrolled in auror training though found it to be too difficult and ended up working at Zonko's in Hogsmeade. The murder had not occured in Hogsmeade though, rather it had been a murder that happened in St. Thomas Graveyard. The graveyard had many bodies of muggles along with some wizards and witches. The death was brutal, it appeared that it was not by the infamous killing curse. It was rather by a curse that caused many cuts on him along with a very bloody sight in the graveyard. The family had fled the country at the news of their son being killed, with his little sister starting at a different school only a few days after returning to Hogwarts. The absence of the girl may have been noticed by a few people at the school or not. Teddy was not sure if she was popular or kept to herself. As for the auror that discovered the body, it was Alaster Moody. He was considered one of the best aurors, no doubt. It wasn't the person that discovered her that threw some people into a panic, considering he should have stopped the event from happening, if he was so great, right? No, it was the fact that in the sky, there was smoke in the sky. The smoke was in the form of a skull with a snake going through it's mouth. This mark had been seen at quite a bit of deaths. It was the dark mark, the mark of a dark lord. Not many people dared to say his name outloud, few knew his real name and heritage.
Teddy hadn't heard much of the man behind the group that he called 'death eaters'. He knew his real name though not his heritage despite being in the group called 'order of the phoenix'. Not everyone from the ministry were in the group, only a select few were part of the Order. Alastor was one of them along with Kingsley, another auror who worked with Teddy. Deaths were happening quickly which resulted in the creation of the order. It was led by the headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore. Teddy was invited to join shortly after his auror training finished up, given that he got along with the headmaster quite well during his school years. Being told the death was quite difficult for him as he lost a great friend though it was more the realization that the world was simply not as safe as it once was. Power was consuming so many people, driving them to do despicable things. With the death, he decided to go to Hogsmeade for a visit. It was a visit to see his younger sister, Chloe. She was so unlike him in the sense that she was innocent. Chloe was considered one of the nicest people in the school. Not many people would think of hurting her considering she never gave them a reason to. Not many people knew of their muggleborn heritage, it wasn't something that they hid. It just wasn't something that was an often topic of discussion unless they mentioned something only muggles would know. As for him, he was nice as well though was certainly a person with a game of his own. That meant that he could never settle for one girl in particular. Not all girls were alike and none of them quite matched him, so he stuck to finding different girls every so often to keep him company. Plus, having another bridge connected meant another person that could get hurt, if anyone decided to target him since he was an auror.
The trip to Hogsmeade was to reveal the news to Chloe or see, if she had read the newspaper or received a letter from home about it. It was also to see her considering he did not get a chance to see her leave on the train for school. He had been busy with a raid along with the aurors thus could not make it to see her off to school. Given the good relationship between the ministry and hogwarts for now, he was able to visit Hogsmeade whenever he felt like apparating to the town that he once caused chaos in. Often, he would be found in the small town, running out of Honeydukes with plenty of candy. He always had a sweet tooth for the chocolate fudge at the store. Truthfully, he felt as if he suffered from ADHD which was something that people felt was a reason that their kids would not pay much attention to things. Things bored him quickly and he always acted a bit hyper even for his age. The fudge was just a bonus kick to that, honestly. Teddy was at his favorite store, having sent a owl with a letter to his sister attached to it's foot. On the note, it said to meet him at Honeydukes after her classes finished up. No doubt, he could spend a whole day in the store if necessary. He wore a pair of glasses along with a black t-shirt and blue jeans. Very rarely did he wear wizard robes considering he wasn't some rich pureblood wizard, after all. The shopkeeper was already looking at him as he talked a bit too fast to a former classmate of his, whom was visiting the shop as well. Yep, the chocolate fudge was kicking in a bit. It only took a matter of seconds for the topic to change between the two former classmates thanks to Teddy's lack of attention to the previous topic.

Growing up in the Hastings household was certainly an interesting experience, to say the least. Being the baby of the family and having two older brothers was both a blessing and a curse. When she said she didn't want to be babied, she was forced to play football. When she said that she didn't want to be treated like one of the boys, she was treated like a delicate little flower. However, these weren't notions that she was annoyed with. In fact, she loved her brothers to death and the fact that they were protective of her...she liked it. They were living in world where murders and kidnappings were happening more and more everyday. And they weren't just any kind of murders, people like her were being killed. Muggleborns. Other witches and wizards who supported muggleborns were being murdered as well. Chloe felt like she was walking around with a huge arrow above her head, pointing down at her with big neon letters saying, "Here I am! Kill me now!" Maybe she was exaggerated the idea, but there was no doubt that she was a little more cautious, now. It was part of the reason that she didn't go off the school grounds by herself anymore. It was sad that it had reached that point, but she valued her life a little more than she valued shopping and tea. Let's be honest.
It was mid-day when Chloe received a letter from her brother, Teddy, asking her to meet him at Hogsmeade. She wasn't sure what the visit was about, but she was happy that she was going to get to see him. The siblings tried to get together as much as they could, but conflicting schedules always meant that one of them couldn't meet up. "Honeydukes, huh?" she thought to herself, "No surprise, there." Actually, if she didn't hurry, she was sure that she'd find Teddy in a candy coma. So, with that funny thought in her head, she shut her potions book and made her way towards her room to change clothes. Chloe didn't need designer clothes to look cute. She could probably wear a burlap sack and make it look good. But the best part about it, was that she didn't view herself like that. If she was comfortable, she felt good. Material things didn't mean a lot to her and she thought that was an important notion. Money can't buy happiness...it can help make someone happy, but not satisfied. There was more to life than that. After slipping her black shoes on, Chloe started making her way to Hogsmeade.
Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, Chloe walked into the town, taking a look around at the various students and adults that head decided to visit. She could honestly say that she didn't know any of them and that only a few faces looked familiar. She had a hunch that since the attacks in Diagon Alley, people had started coming to Hogsmeasd, thinking that it was safer. Good logic, but Chloe thought just the opposite. Pursing her lips, she continued walking, finding Honeydukes and entering the store. It didn't take long to locate her brother...in the chocolates. Surprise. Walking up behind him, she poked him in the side, before moving into his line of sight- smiling. "Hey, stranger. I can't say I'm surprised that you picked this place to meet. Honestly. You're going to turn into a Chocoball." Chloe laughed lightly, crossing her arms. "So, what's up? You okay?" She only decided to ask that because their meeting wasn't planned. She figured he had something interesting to tell her about his job, which was good. But, for now, she was perfectly okay with eyeing the Acid Pops.
