stubborn. independent. witty. if there is one trait that runs in the hastings family, it is the trait of being stubborn. in a conversation, teddy will often not back down, wanting to prove that he is usually right. which is a true fact given his knowledge. he is very stubborn to change as well in which that he doesn't want to change himself, if someone else does not like how he is. he believes he has the freedom to be himself. his sense of independence is from being an only child for the first few years of his life. this then developed more when he attended hogwarts by himself. he doesn't rely on other people to do things for him, preferring to defend himself and provide for himself. his personality is that of coming up with witty comments. someone may think that they have outsmarted him in a conversation then all of a sudden, he will come up with something out of nowhere.

creative. observant. loyal. theodore has a high sense of creativity in which he can come up with the most bizarre things from his mind. he has a big imagination and even describes things way differently than what they really are. his high creativity is what causes him to not want to pay attention to things in conversations unless they mean something. observance is important when he hears something that he could potentially use later for information. he is more observant with how a person acts. he can tell when someone is lying to him by facial impressions due to observing people that have lied to him in the past. at a scene of a death, he often picks up on some details on what may have happened by looking around the area for signs of things. despite appearing a bit too hyper and creative for his own good, he actually knows when to fully pay attention to things. loyalty is a big thing for him in that he will stay loyal to someone until they give him a reason not to. he heavily despises liars thus that is the number one reason that he would lose loyalty to them. all trust to that person would get thrown out of the window, no question. he is also a bit protective of the people that he is loyal to. especially, his little sister, who he refuses to see corrupted in this world despite it being full of darkness at the present time.

trusting. player. outgoing. hard-working. when someone tells him something that they do not want anyone else to know, he can hold onto that secret forever. he does not go around gossiping about others. after all what kind of friend would he be? he is the type that would give him life over revealing the whereabouts of someone, if someone terrible was looking for them. with every person, there is a flaw. theodore's flaw is that he can't seem to settle down with anyone for a long period of time. most of his relationships have been one night stands for the reason that the one girl that he did care a lot about, was killed by a death eater when he graduated hogwarts. since then, he has developed into quite the smooth talker. sure, he was that way in hogwarts, but now it is much more of a habit. he can often be seen in numerous pubs,bars,or clubs trying to pick up a girl. given this flaw, he is quite outgoing in which he will go up to anyone and start a conversation. theodore isn't afraid of speaking in front of crowds, in fact he enjoys it. as for his job, he is hard working in that he is very committed to it. he hopes to become head auror one day though knows he has a lot of work ahead of him. even in school, he kept his grades up through paying attention.
