this sickness that takes over my mind, kills me inside.REMUS JOHN LUPINsixteen | gryffindor | sixth year | werewolf | half-blood | prefect remus is considered to be quite intelligent, perhaps the smartest of the marauders. he has displayed some ability to use nonverbal magic which comes of use when one does not want their enemy to know what spell that they are using. he also has a sense of maturity that perhaps outmatches his friends as well. while, they will bully other students such as snivellus, he does not participate in the bullying. however, he is not much better as he stands by and lets his friends continue on with the bullying. remus does not jump into stopping his friends since he fears being rejected by them. people such as snivellus that are bullied by his friends, he does his best to have a civil conversation with them though this barely harbors the dislike some have for him. remus is quite calm in that he barely has an outburst of anger even when he is being bullied by a slytherin or two. he manages to keep his composure, relying more on his words or wand rather than physical violence or loud outbursts. being a tolerant person, he can handle most insults thrown at him. barely showing any signs of being hurt, he keeps a strong look on his face though he does get hurt by the words said to him. he just has learned to tolerate it quite better than he could when he was younger.
being picked on by plenty of people in his life, he has the ability to see the good in anyone. even if the person is a slytherin that may pick on him on occasion, he believes that there is still some good in the person. good that they perhaps are not ready for the world to see. remus is fair minded meaning he hardly takes sides. he tries to remain neutral when his friends have a fight amongst themselves. being the peacekeeper in the group, he attempts to listen to both sides and have both of his friends reconcile. offering advice is something that he has done on more than one occasion for his friends. being extremely forgiving, remus has the ability to not hold many grudges against people. he easily can forgive someone after a fight or after they have apologized to him. the only way that he is not easily forgiving to someone is if they have taken the life of someone or caused the death of someone on purpose. these actions, he would consider unforgivable unless the person truly felt sorry for the deaths. that is something that rarely happens in the wizarding world unfornuately.
while being brave is something that most people expect from a gryffindor, he has some cowardly traits to him. remus will not stand up to his friends since he fears being rejected, left with no friends. remus also has tried to leave home in fear that his parents would be outcasted by their friends for having a 'freak' son. remus lacks confidence in himself, believing that he is not that great of a wizard. he feels that there are better wizards out there than him, much better. with a goal of stopping the dark times altogether with his friends after graduation, he truly believes that he will be one of the first to die rather than survive. when his friends found out his condition, he insisted to them to not learn animagi. he also told them that they would be better off without him as a friend now. after all, who would want to be friends with a werewolf? not many people could accept it. he didn't want to try to get rid of his friends, but he did not want to burden their lives either. despite his condition, they became animagi and their bond became closer after that. remus also has a bad experience with girls where he won't let them get to know him. he has a high fear of children, something that he would love to have, if he was not the way he is. he also believes himself to not be good enough for a girl since he could never support her since his job hopes outside the castle are fairly poor.

remus and sirius
so, this one's very easy. remus and sirius are indescribably close, especially if you read that fanfiction. haha, i digress. anyway, they're very close, as demonstrated by james and sirius demanding that remus help them in their attempts to become animagi. so we can observe how much they care for each other in that offer of friendship. i imagine sirius and james, as stated in your essay above) would be rather difficult to distract from their lesser good deeds at times and perhaps get remus into trouble on more occasions than remus would like, since he's not the most vocal or confident in the group. in rare circumstances, however, i imagine that remus would have slightly more influence with his friends than he might expect or predict. obviously sirius will mostly fulfil his own desires, including berating snape for breathing, but remus might be that "good influence" they definitely need. terwynnandremusi can definitely see these two being good friends considering they have the personalities that tend to drift towards one another. terwynn the tomboy when it comes to sports, otherwise very girly when it comes to style and make up. even though she can be considered "one of the boys" she is also a girl.
she would have grown up with the marauder boys (same house and age and all) and since she and sirius grew very close it would be understandable why the rest of the gang trusted her with her friendship. nay or yay?

CASS&REMUS; Remus would be an interesting case for Cassie. He's a mystery to her. She'd find him rather fascinating. because of the stories the rumors, which she'd hate to listen to, but there's always a ring of truth to them, and she's out to figure it out. She's would be curious, extremely. But enamored because he seems like a nice bloke also. I think she'd want to befriend him, fore all the right reasons, or so she tells herself, but there'd be an underlying curiosity. She's not someone that accepts friendships lightly either. ahahaha Idk now I'm rambling, ideas?

remus & sirius well, it is easy. these two are very close friends, best friends obviously. i'd imagine they didn't start off being best friends considering he would have probably picked on him for being a geek at first. however, considering the two obviously ended up friends, i'd imagine remus would see the bullying as him playing around after a few days of dealing with it. remus would be the good influence for the group, hoping to persuade them not to bother snivellus though they'd just brush it off most of the time. despite them not listening and still doing it, he doesn't join along in it. though he does not stop them either. if the two grow to distrust each other later on like demonstrated in the books, we can perhaps run that through their little plot in school. considering it is sirius who loses trust in remus, perhaps pitch an idea for it? =]
remus & terwynn yay! i'd love to see these two as good friends. remus is a big fan of quidditch, keeping track of the games and rankings over playing it himself. if she grew close to sirius, that would have been how they met and grew closer. ^^
remus & cassie perhaps she fakes a friendship with him which isn't hard considering he believes everyone has some good in them. he has no problem befriending some slytherins due to this. she fakes a friendship with him to gain his trust, in hopes that he will spill his secret, revealing the rumors are true. however, he rarely tells anyone the secret. perhaps...just perhaps, she kisses him. after all relationships like that tend to spill secrets, right? i don't see them being a final couple or anything as he has a final though it could happen before he gets with his final. he'd mistakenly spill the secret out? then she'd lose interest in him, having gained the information she wanted to know. thus the end of their 'relationship' then i'd imagine later on, she'd regret what she did though he'd probably not talk to her anymore after this.

CASS&REMUS; Oh my gosh, she's not that heartless. xD She probably wouldn't even fake it so much, but he curiosity would get the best of her, and she'd feel a bit upset that he wouldn't tell her. I could see her crushing on him a bit, but nothing romantic has to happen.
