albus percival wulfric brian dumbledore
former gryffindor | sixty five | headmaster
about him:
Considered to be the most powerful wizard of his time, Dumbledore was benevolent and wise, a good wizard in the style of Merlin. He almost constantly gave off an aura of serenity and composure, rarely displaying intense emotions of anger or fear. He spoke in a calm, collected voice, being reasonable and kind, but firm. Dumbledore was very eccentric and even slightly effeminate; he was very fond of knitting patterns and frequently wore flamboyant clothing (at one point, he is seen wearing a flowered bonnet). He was also known for his odd displays of whimsicality; he often used humour to make people feel comfortable in his presence. Dumbledore has been known to be quite philosophical; often, very few people have the understanding (or patience) to comprehend his philosophies. As a supremely talented wizard, Dumbledore showed numerous examples of extraordinary abilities. His capabilities as a wizard were combined with a kind of cunning and subtlety of mind that allowed him to comprehend human nature and turn the better aspects of humanity (trust, love, and friendship) to Voldemort's disadvantage in particular. Yet, despite his many talents and accomplishments, Dumbledore was never arrogant, self-important, or pompous, and in this he stands above the other great wizards of his day. He was however very aware of his supreme talent and intelligence, and did not hold back when reminding people of this fact. Dumbledore acknowledges that everyone has their own weaknesses, with him being no exception. At the same time, he also acknowledges that people become strong by first accepting said weaknesses.
additional info:
the site needs him since tom riddle is in school and i'd imagine that the headmaster would be needed. after all, he did teach when tom riddle was in school, however this site is a bit of an AU, so he'll be headmaster when riddle is about to finish his last school year. also, he is slightly a tiny bit younger than he would be in the books, so perhaps someone can take him as a character. despite that, the majority of events that occurred in the books for dumbledore have happened. his sister's death. his friendship with gellert. his pb must be geoffrey rush and everything else is up to you. we'd appreciate it, if someone that has rped for a while takes him or someone that can write very in depth posts. the only reason for this is due to his importance as an individual in the wizarding world.
